Subtle Earth Organic Single Serve Cups – 84 ct.

Organic Coffee K Cups

Sometimes, you just want to brew a cup of coffee without the hassle – and at Cafe Don Pablo, we’re proud to offer single-serve coffee K cups to help you do just that. Our Subtle Earth Organic K cups take one of our most popular organic coffees, Subtle Earth Organic, and portion it out perfectly into single-serve cups that fit into any Keurig-style coffee cup brewing machine. All you need to do is pop the cup into your machine, place  a mug below, and hit the brew button. You’ll be enjoying delicious Latin coffee in minutes!

These coffee K cups use a premium-quality Latin American coffee produced to organic standards using traditional farming methods. The beans are grown in the high mountains of the Marcala region of Honduras, and our farmers use no chemical inputs to grow the beans. Farmers use vermiculture to compost the cascara, or fruit of the coffee bean, as fertilizer, and because of the high altitude, insects are less present and insecticide usually isn’t necessary. If bugs do cause problems, our farmers simply plant chili peppers as a repellent. The result of this organic coffee farming and high altitude location produces an unusually dense coffee bean, packed with flavors of dark chocolate, sweet caramel, and honey – and with our small-batch artisanal roasting process, we’re able to bring the full complexity of the bean into your cup. Try one of our coffee K cups today!

100% recyclable cup, compatible with the Keurig® 2.0. 84 count box.

Full body with a deep, rich, chocolaty flavor; a clean finish and low acidity. Smooth milk chocolate with notes of honey, caramel and cocoa. 100% Arabica coffee, Medium-Dark Roast.  Non GMO, Certified Organic by CCOF.

The slight caramelization of the natural sugars in the bean give this medium-dark coffee a touch of roastiness, while it still retains its natural flavor character, giving it a sweet, pleasant aftertaste.

Subtle Earth Organic is an exceptional Honduran coffee from the Marcala region. No chemical inputs are used. The “cherries (fruit of the coffee bean),” are composted and used as fertilizer, along with vermiculture, and fewer insects are present at the altitude that it’s grown, so no insecticides are necessary. If there ever is a bug problem, farmers sometimes plant peppers as a repellent.

This high altitude coffee is very dense, and thus has “depth of flavor” and we are able to roast it just right to bring out its natural flavor characteristics and a wonderful sweetness.
